Six-Flavor Date Balls

These delicious balls are perfect to have in the fridge as a healthy snack, and because they contain all six tastes, they give a wonderful feeling of satisfaction.
Ingredients
- 250 grams Medjool dates
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Zest of 1 organic orange
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder
- A pinch of salt
- 1/3 cup coarsely chopped almonds
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Preparation
- Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until a ball forms.
- Transfer the ball to a pan over low heat and wait until the mixture has become drier.
- Remove the pan from the heat, add the almonds, and stir well.
- Let the mixture cool and then form into small balls. If desired, roll them in sesame seeds.
